Livin’ la vida low carb-8/14/22

Hey friends,
Sundays can be a tough day to stay motivated so let’s talk about motivation. Mine comes from my kids. I had my son when I was 23 and I had my daughter when I was 39 so there’s quite an age difference there . They both motivate me in completely different ways . My son wants me to be able to travel with him and really finally get to enjoy life . My daughter just wants me to hang out with her and play with her constantly (she’s just barely 4 years old ) and I want to be able to do all the things my kids want me to do with them and also I want to live long enough to leave them with a solid foundation . Which means paying off my house and building my businesses so that they don’t have to worry as much as I did . My favorite uncle passed away when he was barely older than I am now and before he died he told me that his one regret in life was wasting time worrying about money. I try to always remember that but it’s hard to not worry about it. All I can really do is try to make it a little bit easier for my kids and then hopefully they can do the same for theirs and so on ! All of this is to say that everything I do for my health and financial well being is for them . For my kids and my family . They are my reason for not just scarfing down whatever carb filled food is readily available at seemingly every turn . They are what keeps me mindful of everything that matters most and what is just momentary.I force myself to give it more thought and effort because I’m worth that much more and more importantly my kids are worth everything I’ve got and more . Now that I’ve lost a lot of weight I have actually had a new motivator as well! All of you friends ! So many of you have expressed your support for me thru out this intense journey and now it helps to keep me on track . I’d never want to let you all down. My hope is to lift you all up. I love you friends ! Now tell me, what motivates you ? I’d love to hear about it !
