Livin’ la vida low carb-8/9/22

Hey friends,

Let’s talk about cravings! They’re really difficult to deal with for me . I don’t know about you all but I have a terrible time with temptation. If I have sugary treats or just even carb filled junk food in the house I will wake up in the night craving it and trying to talk myself out of going downstairs and eating all the wrong things . Sooooo I try to set myself up for success by eating low glycemic foods to curb my cravings and I keep my keto candy jar upstairs in case the mood still strikes me and I really want a treat. One of the foods I really like that helps me get full but not keep eating past fullness is low glycemic pasta . Dreamfields is one of the foods I have mentioned several times on my blog . The really great thing about dreamfields is that it tastes exactly like regular pasta but doesn’t send me into a frenzy of overeating! Today’s recipe is for when you are craving seafood and Mac n cheese ! You could even go all out and make cheddar bay biscuits with carb quick or your favorite keto baking mix ! But I didn’t do that today 😂 

Remember those shrimp skewers from my Aldi haul? I made those in the air fryer ! 10 minutes on 400 degrees so they got a little crispy and I had them with my leftover tuna Mac . I make mac n cheese with the same cheese packets that comes with the deluxe mac n cheese but I make my pasta the dreamfields elbow macaroni. Then I throw in a couple cans of albacore tuna , Parmesan cheese and peas and carrots . I also add a lot of black pepper ! This was an incredibly easy and satisfying meal!
